What is a Lift UPS?
Lift UPS (also called a Lift Inverter or Emergency Rescue Device (ERD)) is a specialized three-phase UPS system designed to provide uninterrupted back-up power to elevators/lifts during mains failures
How does Lift Ups Work ?
It continuously charges batteries during normal operation. When power fails, it automatically switches within ~15–20 ms to battery-inverter mode, providing pure sine-wave power to safely move the elevator
